Your branding photoshoot should include various types of photos in order to convey the full vision and personality of your brand. By the time you’re done, you should have a full visual representation of who you are and what your brand has to offer. To do that, you should consider including these five types of photos in your branding photoshoot.
-
Headshots
The need for headshots is obvious. You can use them for your social media profile pictures and your About Me sections. Plus, people simply need to know who you are in order to build those important connections and increase sales. Your photographer will arrange you in a variety of different poses and looks and photograph you from various angles to get the perfect “first impression” photos.
-
Your Team
If you have a team behind the scenes, they deserve some love too! Let everyone see behind the curtain and allow a more personal view of the people hard at work to make things happen. Introduce your team and use the photos for a section on your website or to create social media content. Everyone loves a “Meet The Team” employee backstory!
-
Products
If you have products to sell, absolutely include them in your branding photoshoot. Photograph the products themselves and then show how they are used, if possible. These product photos are really useful for anything - social media, sales, promos, website, etc. and can definitely help drive in more sales!
-
Services
Depending on what services you offer, you could demonstrate your process and show people what they can expect by working with you. This is also a great way to show what makes you stand out from the rest. Show the world how you do what you do best! These photos are good for Product or Service sections on your website or social media accounts.
5. Brand Personality
Your branding photoshoot should be fun, and the personality photos are where you can get the most creative. Use backdrops, props, colors and locations to convey the true personality of your brand. Incorporate your brand colors into your wardrobe or grab some things from your office that really embody who you are. These photos are meant solely to connect with your clients on a deeper, more personal level.
Friendly Tip: Whether your business is new or you’re just looking to freshen things up, a branding photoshoot should always result in a representation of yourself and what your brand represents. It may be helpful to share a mood board or a list of what you want to convey through your photos with your photographer. (i.e. What do you want people to think/feel/see when they see your branding photos?)
